SITUATION

Lawyer turned jewellery designer Alison Morris had evolved her creative style from delicate minimalist pieces to bold silverware with attitude. Her previous branding no longer conveyed what Veiled Rebel was about - that is unisex pieces for those who know their own mind - so we set to work creating a new clean and striking new logo and accompanying identity.

Moodboard & Concepts

Alison was a dream to work with as she already had a very clear idea of the brand aesthetic she wanted to create and our moodboard reflects that, with influence from street art, activism and counter-culture juxtaposed with elegant silver and delicate shadows. We wanted a bold identity to match the jewellery - much of which is inspired by claws and teeth - but with a minimal elegance.

Early logo ideas explored the claw shape, veils and edgy forms, inspired by the pieces

We introduced a vibrant yellow to the brand as an accent. Alison wanted unique and memorable business cards so we created these transparent plastic business cards for her to continue the ‘veiled’ theme. We also used these as an opportunity to share the brand’s positioning statement: Unapologetic Unisex Jewellery

We also created a small scale mark for the brand’s social media, this is also engraved into the pieces for an extra special detail.
